One of the BIG 4 in PNG is looking for multiple auditors and these roles play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial statements and operational processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, internal controls, and business operations to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial records and transactional data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain audit methodologies and procedures that align with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insightful recommendations aimed at optimizing operational performance and financial reliability.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that articulate findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for executive management and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor audit compliance and the effectiveness of corrective actions taken to address identified issues.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging best practices to effectively adapt audit strategies accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a CA Qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, internal controls, or financial analysis within a corporate environment.
- Proficient in using audit management software and advanced analytical tools, with a strong command of Excel and data visualization techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting standards, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
